Report a security issue

If you think you've found a security problem in ParLock, the app, our servers or this website, we want to hear from you.

How to report

Email security@parlock.ca with what you found, how to reproduce it, and what you think the impact is. We'll confirm we received it within 3 business days and keep you updated until it's fixed.

Please

• Give us reasonable time to fix the issue before telling anyone else.
• Only test against your own account and devices. Never access other people's messages or data, and never disrupt our service for others.
• Don't use social engineering, phishing or physical attacks against us or our users.

Good-faith research

If you act in good faith and follow these guidelines, we won't take legal action against you for your research, and we'll credit you when the fix is released if you'd like. This isn't a paid bug bounty.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep ParLock secure and use our own reviews and AI-assisted testing to find and fix vulnerabilities, but no software is perfectly secure and we can't promise ParLock is free of flaws. That's why reports like yours matter.
